This website offers visitors the ability to pre-order (or order) the book A Progressive's Case For Bitcoin ("the book"). By accessing or using the website of our service, you approve that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
In order to use our website and/or preorder the book, you must be of the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, and possess the legal authority, right and freedom to enter into these Terms as a binding agreement. You are not allowed to use this website and/or purchase the book if doing so is prohibited in your country or under any law or regulation applicable to you.
When buying an item, you agree that: (i) you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to buy it: (ii) you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item and you complete the check-out payment process.
The prices we charge for pre-ordering the book are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for products displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. Additional information about pricing and sales tax is available on the payments page.
At this time the only purchase available is to pre-order the book. In doing so you agree to pay for the purchase price of the book in addition to shipping and applicable sales tax at the time of the pre-order. The book will be delivered to pre-order customers before any others. The anticipated date of delivery is approximately August 2023, but we reserve the right to adjust that date. Such adjustments will be communicated to the email that we collect during the checkout process.
We may, without prior notice, change the services; stop providing the services or any features of the services we offer; or create limits for the services. We may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend access to the services without notice and liability for any reason, or for no reason.
You agree to indemnify and hold C. Jason Maier harmless from any demands, loss, liability, claims or expenses (including attorneys’ fees), made against them by any third party due to, or arising out of, or in connection with your use of the website or any of the services offered on the website.

returns and refunds
If you wish to cancel your pre-order, you may do so by writing to cjasonmaier@gmail.com to request a cancellation and a refund to the original payment method. This is an option until the books have been delivered. Once books are delivered, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for books purchased. The sale of a delivered books is final.

The information we collect on this website, including but not limited to name, address, phone, email and all payment information is used for the sole purpose of fulfilling orders of the book and communicating updates about orders or delivery of the book. email addresses provided in the "email me when the book is ready!" section will be used to notify users that the book is ready to order through the website. The information collected on this website will not be used for any other purpose or sold to any third party for any reason, ever.
Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

fulfillment and shipping policy
All orders and pre-orders of the book will be fulfilled in a timely manner and will be shipped using USPS media mail option. Pre-orders of the book will be delivered with an estimated date of August 2023. Once the book is available for purchase, orders will be fulfilled within 2 business of the order whenever possible. Delays will be communicated to customers if and when they occur. At this time, it is only possible to have orders delivered within the United States.
